In line with current Victorian Electrical Safety Legislation, Safety Checks are mandatory and are required every 24 months on all Rental Properties. Smoke Detectors are required to be inspected every 12 months.

Electrical Safety & Smoke Alarm Check

Cost $260 PLUS GST

This extensive service includes a complete safety check of all electrical items – appliances, installations and fittings at a property to ensure they are safe and compliant.

This package includes:

  • Perform an inspection on the main switchboard.
  • Ensure all switchboards have correct safety switch protection and meet AS/NZS 3019 standards.
  • Service every 2 years by qualified electrician (automatically carried out every 2 years, as per government standards).
  • All faults, mandatory works and suggested works will be reported and quoted.
  • EIA report sent detailing the results of the check annual servicing of all smoke alarms by our trained technicians (automatically carried out every 12 months, as per government standards for a lower cost of $99 Plus GST).
  • First visit, any faulty or out of date smoke detectors will be replaced while on site and will incur a fee. There after, any faulty smoke detectors will be changed free of charge.
